| Alex Samorukov said that Photoshop 5 runs with Odin 0.0.5 (22.10.2000): "It even works, I managed to load a picture in it, to apply filter and save the result! It is not suitable for work yet as palettes are not shown correctly and it crashes often". We believe the fact that it started and partly works is a great hope for OS/2 users working with graphics. At the screenshot on OS2.Ru - OS/2 Warp 4.5 with Adobe Photoshop 5.0 started where file AURORA01.JPG is loaded from OS/2 distributive. | The Notebook/2 Site: Updated (from Dr. Martinus) |
| The Notebook/2 site, the greatest and maybe only resource on OS/2 in the notebook computer arena, has further been updated over the last weeks. Some new top end models have been included from IBM to wor well with OS/2, even though IBM does not officially support OS/2 on these models. Other info like installation guides can be useful for people who do not work with a notebook computer, too.

Bryce & Associates (MBA) today announced the release of the November issue of OS/2 CONNECT,a freeware newsletter distributed through the various computer networks and bulletin boards. OS/2 CONNECT is THE authoritative source for contact information in the universe of IBM's OS/2 32-bit operating system.

| I've finally brought up my new site for all OS/2 users that consider themselves "home users". The site goes over topics that are important to people that like games and news you can use with OS/2 and the new eComStation. There are several links and a growing section of games for OS/2 (DOS, OS/2, JAVA, and XFREE86). I'm also working on a section for programs in OS/2 which has pictures and ratings. I'm taking over some program development for a program called
OS/2 Gamers' Guide This is THE utility for running DOS games, and in my opinion should be the first thing you get before trying to run DOS games. | Under the XML-project of Openoffice.org (the source of StarOffice now under GPL) you can find the specification and the DTD (document type definition) of OpenOffice's XML fileformats.
