A new service refresh(That is an update for the base installed version) of Java 118 for OS/2 is now available. The build version is o118-19991026. The fixes are:
- Font creation is not threadsafe
- Monospaced font is proportionally spaced for Korean
- Mouse inoperative using Swing with AWT
- The idlj compiler does not work for bounded strings.
- DBCS corrections for far eastern languages.
- JIT assert in rt86xstack_.c Line:500
- Z caron missing on cp1252
- MenuShortcuts for Function Keys Displayed Wrong
- java_g with the -prof option can hang the JVM
- Hang involving popup menus
- Unknown size of zip entry is 0 instead of -1
