| Deleatur V2.10 Detects and deletes spam direct on a POP3 Mail-Server (from Rainer) |
| Many mail-accounts are currently flodded by worms with many messages and fixes from \"Microsoft\".
One Possible solution to the problem is the program Deleatur V2.10 from Eberhard Sturm. Its available for windows and OS/2. The Program which is currently only available in german uses a bayes filter and marks spam red and mail which it considders no spam green. After confirmation it can delete the spam directly on the POP3 server. and the user can download the other mail with his usual mail-program. The OS/2 version is bundelt together with the windows version, and needs to be installed on partition which supports long filenames. The author is currently working on a new version which is scheduled to be released in about 2 weeks. | The Mozilla Plug-In Pack Installer allows you to install the OS/2 Multimedia Plug-Ins for Netscape Communicator to Netscape as well as to Mozilla in one step. The plug-ins can even be installed for Mozilla when Netscape Communicator is not installed.
The package consists of a REXX script, which will temporarily setup the system so that the plug-in DLLs will also be installed to a Mozilla installation, if existing. The benefits are:

| jSyncManager.org has announced the second beta release of the jSyncManager 3.0 Palm Hand-held Synchronization Core Application Set for Java, and the fifth beta release of the jSyncManager 3.0 API for Java. While the application set is designed to allow organizations to easily run PalmOS data synchronization tasks in cross-platform environments, using Sun Microsystem\'s popular Java(tm) Runtime Environment, the jSyncManager v3.0 Application Programmers Interface (API), is a set of tools for software developers to allow them to integrate jSyncManager functionality into their own development projects.
According to Brad Barclay, the lead Developer and Project Administrator it is the last beta release of the jSyncManager v3.0. The jSyncManager.org team anticipates having a gamma-level release candidate of the jSyncManager v3.0 Core Application Set and API by the end of September 2003, with a final release appearing in early October. New with V0.2.7: -Renamed method cwmmAddWaveInformationPage() to cwmmAddAudioInformationPage(). -Added container handle to parameter list of methods cwmmPlayTrack() and cwmmPauseTrack() -If several audio files in a folder are started at once they will be played consecutively. -Image information in popup menu -Added audio information for midi files in details view. -Audioplayer playback always started with default volume setting (70%). -Master volume item added to sys menu of audio player. -Language now derived from LANG setting not the country code. -URL of audio stream objects was truncated to 4 chars when reopening the settings. -Audio-Stream objects lost their type after changing settings. -Bitrate display for MP3 files if MMIOMP3 0.4.2 or above is installed. -Bitrate display for OGG files if MMIOOGG 0.3.1 or above is installed. -ID3 tag handling completely rewritten.
