Installing Warp 4 on a TP 390E (from Doug, 04:43:58) ^
I'm having problems installing Warp 4 on my thinkpad 390E. I have the updated install disk 1 and 2. Regardless the install always fails at disk 2 where is says "loading system files. please wait...". The machine chirps along but gets no where. The cdrom light blinks on and off and I can hear it moving. No progress is ever made, though if I eject the cdrom the install program complains.

I tried editing config.sys like so:

BASEDEV=IBM1S506.ADD /V /A:0 /U:1 /ATAPI

but it didn't make a difference. I've wiped the CD clean to ensure it isn't simply a case of a dirty CD. I don't know what to do from here.

Thanks,
Doug
