This version includes a few fixes and improvements done since the last release. The code base in this release has been tested for a very long time and is considered non-beta. | The UPS power manager currently only works with megatec compatible UPS devices.
However, the application has been designed to support drivers for a large number of UPS devices. These drivers can be developed by anyone with a knowledge of C programming for OS/2. Example drivers are provided as open source under the GNU lesser public license. Initially, a dummy driver and a megatec driver are provided. The dummy protocol supports no devices, but it is very handy as a driver development template. if you go to my builds website you will now find an unofficial build of Thunderbird for OS/2 that I called PmW-Tb (as for PmW-Fx to make it clear that this is not an official release and to adhere to the Mozilla trademark rules). It is based on the Thunderbird 1.5rc2 code and hopefully works just as well and better. As MNG/JNG and SVG/Canvas don\'t make that much sense in a mail client I mainly added Rich\'s WPS enhancements, EA URL tagging of downloads, and the patch for OS/2 like menus (don\'t even know if the latter is really required). However, I haven\'t really used Thunderbird myself and so I am not a good tester. Thanks to Peter Koller for the development of this tool. qPDF works for all applications as well as Printmon PS, but has some features and also some special features if you use it from \'Maul DTP\'. | I have updated my PMMail/2 helper script to version 2.02 and renamed it to a more PMMail/2-dedicated Name: PMMIncoming.cmd.
This REXX script manipulates malformed emails so that they will be correctly handled by PMMail/2. Version 2.02 is almost a complete rewrite and has many improvements. And probably most important for you - the webpages are available in english now too. It requires the libc06.dll runtime that is available from ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/libc-0.6.0-ga2.zip This version supports dynamically loaded modules. Note however that modules will need to be rebuilt with Innotek GCC. Please send request for additional modules to me at paulDESPAM@DESPAMsmedley.info All standard modules (including ssl) are included except for deflate which was giving me grief so is currently not included.
