Decide where to install it.
The default path that is proposed by the developers is C:\Odin, but this can be overridden.
Note: You should install Odin on a partition with plenty of free space. You might need to create a debug logfile and these can become quite large.
Note: Do not (never, never, never) install Odin into your real Windows installation. The result will be that your Windows installation completely damaged and Odin will not work!
4.Decide how you want to run:
With or without PATH and LIBPATH updates. x:\ODIN\SYSTEM32 should be both in your PATH and LIBPATH.
With or without PE.EXE.
6.Reboot if needed.
7.Run OdinApp to verify, that basics went well, as described here.
Die Installation über win32sk ist für einen Beginner zu kompliziert wegen der möglichen vielen Fallen. Im ODIN Oaket ist eine INF Datei, die gibt weiter Anweisungen.
Wichtig ist, daß man das ODIN-Paket im Verzeichnis x:\ODIN entpackt, wobei alle Systemdatein in das weitere Unterverzeichnis SYSTEM32 abgelegt werden.
Der Aufruf des WIN Programms erfolgt dann einfach über eine Befehlszeile :
pe name.exe
