findest du u.a. folgende Hinweise zur DOS-Konfigurfation:
MPTS automatically installs the LAN VDD by adding the device driver statements to the CONFIG.SYS file if OS/2 2.0 is installed. If your workstation
does not require the LAN VDD support, remove the following statements from the CONFIG.SYS file:
DEVICE=x:IBMCOMPROTOCOLLANVDD.OS2
DEVICE=x:IBMCOMPROTOCOLLANPDD.OS2
where x is the drive where you installed MPTS.
To activate changes to your CONFIG.SYS file, shut down your system and then restart it.
If you are using a network application that requires a specific version of DOS to be started from OS/2 2.0, you must complete one of the following
procedures:
Use the DOS_DEVICE parameter in DOS Settings to load the DEVICE=x:IBMCOMPROTOCOLLANVMEM.SYS statement for a specific DOS session.
x is the drive where you installed MPTS.
Place the DEVICE=x:IBMCOMPROTOCOLLANVMEM.SYS statement in the CONFIG.SYS file of the DOS start location that is specified by the
DOS_STARTUP_DRIVE parameter in DOS Settings for a specific DOS session. x is the drive where you installed MPTSS
Place the DEVICE=x:IBMCOMPROTOCOLLANVMEM.SYS statement in the OS/2 CONFIG.SYS file to load the driver for all DOS sessions. x is the
drive where you installed MPTS.
Notes:
1. If you change the drive of the copy of MPTS that you use, you must change the drive in the DEVICE=x:IBMCOMPROTOCOLLANVMEM.SYS
statement. x is the drive where you installed MPTS.
2. If you remove MPTS, you must delete the DEVICE=x:IBMCOMPROTOCOLLANVMEM.SYS statement. x is the drive where you installed MPTS.
