- more transaction locking changes. I backed out somewhat aggressive optimization that I'd made before.
PJ28325+ fixed updating the ARCHIVE bit on some file writes. This was introduced somewhere post-CP2, though I had not mentioned it above, before. However, this fix also was sometimes setting the archive bit on setfileinfo/setpathinfo requests when it should not have done so. I've removed the spurious changes, and also added turning on the archive bit when EAs are modified.
This latter change will be noticed when doing things like restoring files with EAs from ZIP files -- now, the restored file will (by design) have the archive bit set on.
