Falls jemand das geniale und sehr schnelle Backup-Programm NDB (No double Blocks) benutzt, kann man damit auch direkt auf DVD-RAM sichern?
Leider hat der Programmierer die Entwicklung eingestellt und ist nicht erreichbar, deshalb meine Frage ob incrementale Backups auf DVD-RAM ohne Zwischenschritt über eine HD-Partition überhaupt geht.

"Archiver for OS/2, Win32 and Linux (GPL),
handles files over 2GB under OS/2, Linux and
Win32 also. NDB is a commandline backup utility similar to zip. NDB archives up to 65535 full backups with the costs (size and time) of incremental backups within one archive file.
NDB saves OS/2 EAs, NTFS Security and Unix specifics. The documentation is mostly in german language.
Eine Java GUI (Alpha) ist ebenfalls vorhanden.
