New fix of MPTS v6.01 libraries (09.03.04) (von: GA, 10:48:48) | ^ |
ftp://testcase.boulder.ibm.com/ps/fromibm/tcpip/pj29663.zip
Introduction ---------- This APAR contains the DLLs and respective SYM files which adresses the problem of a Trap 0E in KEEsosend + 9f. The files in this archive are as givesn below, DLLs 1. tcpip32.dll 2. tcp32dll.dll 3. so32dll.dll SYM 4. tcpip32.sym 5. tcp32dll.sym 6. so32dll.sym The above files shall replace the existing respective files on the failing machine. These files can be found at <boot drive>:\mptn\dll directory. If C: is the boot drive, then it is c:\mptn\dll. However, the files in this directory cannot be replaced when the system is completely up and running. Hence we need to resort to a minimal boot to accomplish this task. How to Boot Minimally? ------------------- When the system is booting, press ALT+F1 when the OS/2 bit map appears on the screen. With this a screen with many options shall be displayed. Once this screen comes up, press F2 to complete the minimal boot. Replacing the DLLs and SYM Files ---------------------------- Please ensure that a copy of the above DLLs on the failing machine is backed up before replacement. One option is to rename tcpip32.dll, tcp32dll.dll and so32dll.dll to tcpip32.dll.org, tcp32dll.dll.org, and so32dll.dll.org respectively. Also if the original sym files are found on the system, please back them up suitably. Unzip the PJ29663 archive and transfer the contents of the archive, namely the DLLs and SYMs, to <boot drive>:\mptn\dll and restart the machine. [ Leser: 114 ] |
