| Das ShowImage Modul wurde auf Version 1.7 aktualisiert. Es verwendet jetzt nicht mehr die MMPM/2 Funktionen um Bilder anzuzeigen, sonder die GBM Bibliothek. Diese Bibliothek ist auf allen eComStation Systemen verfügbar. Sollten sie die Bibliothek nicht installiert haben, dann können sie die aktuelle Version vom Hobbes Archiv downloaden. (einfach nach GBM suchen)
Mit dem SlideShow Modul kann man eine Diaschau erstellen. Dazu werden alle Bilder aus einem benutzerdefinierten Verzeichnis verwendet. | Das "Program Status PM/2" von Christian Langanke ist nun in der Version V1.18 verfügbar, die Sprachuntertützung für die schwedische Sprache bietet.
Dieses Programm zeigt eine grafische Darstellung des Prozessbaumes von OS/2 oder eComStation an und erlaubt die Anzeige von Details sowie das Zerstören von Prozessen oder Prozessbäumen. Diese ist besser verständlich als eine simple Liste von Prozessen, wie sie in der Prozessliste von eComStation oder WatchCat angezeigt wird. Eine eingeschränkte Textmodusvariante ist ebenfalls verfügbar (nur Anzeige). PSPM/2 ist eine fehlerfreie Reimplementation eines bereits exisitierenden PSPM/2-Utilities von Seth Eilbott, das Teil des OS/2 Developers Connection Programm-Paketes (DevCon) ist. The camera must be accessible from eCS (OS/2) by a driveletter. As you might know already, this is not a device driver.

| Am 17.11.2006, passend zur Warpstock Europe, wurde die Java Movie Database 1.35 Beta4 veröffentlicht.
Die Java Movie Database (JMDB) ist ein Java Program das die Daten der IMDb Textdateien (Internet Movie Database - http://www.imdb.com) in mehreren MySQL/PostgreSQL Tabellen speichert. Nach dem Import der Daten, kann man nach Schauspielern, Filmen, Produzenten und Regisseuren suchen. Außerdem kann man sich Filme eines Datums oder Zeitraums anzeigen lassen (Kino Planung). Zu den Filmen und Personen werden dann diverse Details angezeigt. Es wird ein Update auf die aktuelle Version empfohlen, da Änderungen an den IMDb Daten (seit Ende Januar 2006 - Folgen von Fernsehserien,...) in ab der JMDB 1.35 berücksichtigt werden (bei der Datenbank Abfrage kann man Folgen von Serien ausblenden). Soeben habe ich meine Erweiterung für GetMyIp von Peter Lueersen fertiggestellt. Mit dem tool ist es möglich die extern IP-Adresse bei Veränderung an eine E-Mail Adresse zu senden. SMTP Auth wird unterstützt. Somit hat man dann mit seiner IP Adresse auch ohne Dyndns, zugriff auf den Rechner zuhause. Ich habe den mailer von einigen Usern schon testen lassen, brauche aber noch feedback, ob es bei irgendwelchen Mail Servern Probleme gibt. Fehlermeldungen und feature Vorschläge willkommen. It has NO PAGE LAYOUT ANALYSIS, NO OUTPUT FORMATTING, and NO UI. It can only process an image of a single column and create text from it. It can detect fixed pitch vs proportional text. Having said that, in 1995, this engine was in the top 3 in terms of character accuracy .. Another current limitation is that it only recognizes English and its character set is only US-ASCII.
