ACPI 3.22.x / Thinkpad T430 / doesn't boot / none What is the reason to collect this short reports? * We don't have information about current level of ACPI support. it works fine for many computers but we don't see negative reports. * The users are lazy to post detailed reports. | Mensys hat gestern in gmane.org.netlabs.genmac.user die Entwicklung von Multimac vorgestellt. Es handelt sich um ein Treibergerüst, mit dem die vorhandenen Linux-Treiber auf einfache Weise portiert werden können.
Die Entwicklung läuft schon, wie man unter http://svn.ecomstation.nl/multimac nachlesen kann. Schwerpunkte sind: 1. Media Sensing (Übernahme des Genmac-codes) 2. Unterstützung für XWLAN wireless Da das Ganze in c geschrieben ist, soll es wesentlich einfacher zu verstehen sein, als der IBM assembler code. Konkret angekündigt sind ein Realtek Gigabit-Treiber und Intel Wireless Chipsätze.
