| Translation of eComStation 1.1 to other languages (from Roderick Klein) |
| To keep people informed what is happening with eComStation 1.1, work on the German version of eComStation 1.1 has already been started. In eComStation 1.1 a lot of work has gone into making the proces easier for us to make other languages.
Also work has started on the French eComStation 1.1. Work on the italian version of eComStation 1.1 will start this week or next week. We except(!) to get the German version final in about a month. | OS2.org with new operators (from ) |
| While the closure of OS2.org has been announced some month ago, this website will now be operated by Team OS/2 Deutschland e.V. (Germany) (local association Team OS/2 Ruhr e.V.). The association will provide the technical and financial basis for the website, but for further development as well as for editorial tasks OS2.org still requires help from outside.

| Testers are needed for the win32prn project.
This project is for running win32 (MS Windows 2000 to be exact) printer drivers under OS/2. Requirements for testers are: 1) You need a printer to test it on 2) You need living MS Windows 2000 to install drivers (to copy them to OS/2 after). 3) You need Odin to run this thing Current limitations of the project are: 1) B&W printing only. 2) All printer properties must be presetup on Win2K (you may have multiple sets of properties presetup and choosen on OS/2) Current printers tested on: Canon LBP-810 (latest drivers from Canon) -> comments: 0 [ Version for printing ] [ Send via eMail ] |

| The Warpstock Board of Directors is very pleased to announce that Warpstock 2003, the seventh edition of the annual Warpstock event, will be held near San Francisco, California, October 18th and 19th, 2003 at the Doubletree Hotel, San Francisco Airport.
We have arranged a special show room rate of $85 per night Single/Double that will be available for up to 3 days before and 3 days after Warpstock (based on availability). We will have more information about the San Francisco area on the web site at http://www.warpstock.org soon. The final contract and arrangements are still pending. When that is finalized we will follow with specific room reservation instructions. Further details on the event, including presentations and events will follow soon. If you are interested in giving a presentation at Warpstock 2003, please contact our speaker coordinator, Robert Kuropkat (robert-kuropkat@attbi.com) with a synopsis of your presentation and any requirements. If you have suggestions for presentations, send them as well and we will try to find someone knowledgeable on the subject who is interested. Warpstock, Inc., is a North Carolina corporation.
