TexmakerX v1.9.9a (from http://news.warpevents.eu/) |
TexMakerX is a fork of the LaTeX IDE TexMaker and gives you an environment where you can easily create and manage LaTeX documents. It provides modern writing support, like interactive spell checking, code folding and syntax highlighting. Also it serves as a starting point from where you can easily run all necessary LaTeX tools. (you can see more features below) You can run it on Windows, Unix/Linux, BSD and MacOSX systems and modify it if you want, since it is licensed under the GPL. Althought TexMakerX has a lot of additional features, it tries to be like an improved version of Texmaker, so it keeps it look&feel as well as its version number.
(look also at the usermanual) TexMakerX 1.9.9 -> TexMakerX 1.9.9a -------------------------------------- - some performance issues on mac have been adressed. It should feel faster for long sible lines on mac. - more than one overlay can be shown at the same time e.g. for syntax highlighting and spell checking - command replacement in completed commands was added - a cut buffer was added. If selected text is replaced with a command via completion, the removed text is used as argument for the inserted command (if applicable) - tool tip in completer shows the surrounding of the label to which the selected reference is pointing - profiles containg predefined short cuts, menu redefinition, editor settings can be imported from a file - when waiting with text cursor on an environment name, a mirror cursor is generated which allows the renaming of the environment (\begin and \end simultaneously) - delete word, a command or an environment by typing ALT-del - spell checking is only done in known text commands - some dialogs adapted to cope better with small screen sizes - lots of bugs removed after user feedback Links: >-> URL: http://news.warpevents.eu/en/home/news_archive/newsdetails/archive/2010/november/article/texmakerx_v199a.html -> comments: 0 [ Version for printing ] [ Send via eMail ] |

GBM plugin 1.42 for Lucide 1.20 and higher ------------------------------------------ This is a plugin for the Lucide document viewer available for eComStation that extends Lucide for the support of reading all bitmap formats supported by GBM.DLL. GBM plugin 1.42 for Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox/SeaMonkey ------------------------------------------------------ This is a plugin for the Webbrowsers Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox and SeaMonkey available for OS/2 and eComStation that extends them for the support of reading all bitmap formats supported by GBM.DLL. Get the package gbmos2plugins_lu142_moz142_bin.zip or the WarpIN installation package (see below). There is also a Mozilla XPI installer package available separately (also included in WarpIN package) which also allows automatic updating of the plugin. GBM.DLL 1.71 and GBM command line tools --------------------------------------- The Generalised Bitmap Module (GBM) is a library capable of loading and saving bitmap files in a variety of popular and less popular bitmap file formats. Programs may be written to use this code, and thus be able to access a variety of file formats without actually knowing what format the pictures are in, or any details about file format itself. It comes with a useful set of command line bitmap manipulation tools. Get package gbmos2_171_bin.zip or the WarpIN installation package (see below). Enhanced GBMV/GBMV2 Version 1.57 -------------------------------- GBMV2 is a fast and simple bitmap viewer and editor for the OS/2 and eCS Presentation Manager. GBMV is a simple bitmap viewer. GBM.DLL REXX adapter library (GBMRX 1.15) ----------------------------------------- GBMRX.DLL is a REXX adapter DLL for OS/2 and eComStation which REXX programs may use to load or save all bitmap file formats supported by the GBM.DLL (to/from a file). Almost full feature set of GBM.DLL is provided by the REXX API. I/O remapping is not supported due to language restrictions. Some image manipulations can be done like scale, reflect, rotate. Get package gbmos2rx115_bin.zip. It is also included in the WarpIN installation package (see below). Notes for eComStation 1.2/1.2R/2.0 users ---------------------------------------- Please read the installation instructions. eCS 1.2/1.2R/2.0 ships with an old GBM.DLL (1.12) which prevents loading of the new GBM.DLL (1.70). Please follow the instructions to use the new GBM.DLL for all programs as well as for eCS WPS features like bitmap previews. New Version EasySYnc 1.1 available (from http://news.warpevents.eu/) |
I would like to inform you that a new version of my synchronisation and backup program EasySync (Ver 1.1) is as of today available on Hobbes in the directory /pub/incoming", but will probably be moved to the directory /pub/os2/util/disk in the next few days. With the latest version of EasySync (1.1) its even easier to synchronise directories thanks to the built in support for NetDrive. Together with NetDrive you can now synchronise with an FTP site, or synchronise/backup your files with a SAMBA server or a NTFS disk. EasySync lets you see at a glance what files need to be updated between two directories whether they reside on the same machine or even on separate PC’s on the network. This simple but powerful graphical interface allows you show files which should be updated, files that have been deleted, files that are missing, files that are newer and older, were deleted etc., plus the proposed transfer direction. Transfer can be set to bi-directional to fully synchronize two directories or uni-directional to limit which directory(ies) is/are updated as may often be the case when backing up files. A choice to display files/directories which have been selected to be ignored during the synchronisation process is a standard option
