Which programs to re-pack? What do users install on fresh eCS installation? Here is the list: Essentials -- http://ecomstation.ru/projects/essentials/
How to install every program? Let\’s discuss, which objects to create on desktop, etc.
Where to store the files? Let\’s upload .wpi packages to Hobbes.nmsu.edu
We are going mention the names of users participating in the campaign (WarpIn TOTAL newsletters). -> URL: http://news.warpevents.eu/en/home/news_archive/newsdetails/archive/2010/august/article/warpin_total_repack_everything_to_warpin.html -> comments: 0 [ Version for printing ] [ Send via eMail ] |

ERACC On-Line Shopping - Down Again (from http://news.warpevents.eu/) |
Hi All, In case any of you have tried to get to our shopping site since sometime Friday you noticed it is down. This is due to my trying to upgrade us from Drupal 5.x to Drupal 6.x and Ubercart upgrades for same. Obviously it did not go well. :) Anyway, instead of restoring the old site I am just planning to start afresh with the new CMS and shopping cart upgrades. I wanted to do some things differently anyway so this will give me a blank slate to start with the ideas I wanted to implement. That sick feeling I had earlier today is giving way to excitement now that I am thinking about the fresh start. If anyone is wanting to order from us just send me an e-mail at http://class='mailtolink'sales@eracc.com while the site is being rebuilt. If anyone asks about our site just refer them to this message. Thanks! ERACC On-Line Shopping - Back Up (from http://news.warpevents.eu/) |
Hi All, Our shopping site has a new look. I have gotten several of the site pages rebuilt from archived copies. If there is anything missing from the old version of our shop that any of you need to see let me know. The catalog with eCS parts is still off-line while I get it built. It should be back up later this week as long as I have time to work on it. See the new version of the site here: http://class='extlink'http://shopping.eracc.com/ Of note are the new "Get a Quote" page under the "PC Systems" menu and the new "Quoted Systems" page under the same menu. The "Get a Quote" page is a fillable three page form for requesting a detailed custom PC quote. I created this to keep the quotes out of the shopping cart system. That was confusing to too many people in the past. As before it allows one to choose multiple options from drop down lists. A new feature is the multiple selection fields for input devices and operating systems. I did this due to some people wanting multiple input devices and/or multi-boot systems with two or more operating systems on one quote. It will be easy to add additional operating systems, so if you have a favorite (other than eComStation :) ) let me know and I will see about adding it. I will not add Microsoft though. You can ask for Microsoft, I just won’t add it. ;) I will post another note to these lists once I have the catalog back up as well.
