PSPM/2 V1.18 released (from http://www.os2news.com)
The Program Status PM/2 of Christian Langanke is now available in V1.18, which introduces Swedish National Language Support.
This program displays a graphical view on the OS/2 or eComStation process tree and allows to display details as well as killing processes and process trees. This is much more comprehensive than a simple list of processes, like displayed by the process list of eComStation or WatchCat.
A stripped textmode version (display only) is available as well. PSPM/2 is a bug-free reimplementation of an already existing PSPM/2 utility of Seth Eilbott, once included in the OS/2 Developers connection program package (DevCon).

Generic MAC Wrapper (Genmac) 2.00 & XWLAN 3.0 released! (from http://www.os2news.com)
++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++
From: Adrian Gschwend < ktkDESPAM@DESPAMnetlabs.org > The famous Generic MAC Wrapper Driver (GenMac) of Willibald Meyer is now available in Version 2.00. Due to the support of many more network interface cards, the new version has grown too big to remain packed into one archive file. Instead it has been split into a package for the main GenMac driver, and additional, vendor specific driver packages.
See the online help in the main package for the revision history, installation instructions, more information about which network interface cards are support, and detailed information on how to submit bug reports including debug data.
Thanks a lot to Willibald Meyer for his work! Genmac Wrapper Homepage: http://genmac.netlabs.org/

WDSibyl 20061114 (from http://www.os2news.com)
++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++
From: Mark Dodel < feedbackDESPAM@DESPAMos2voice.org > Wolfgang Draxler has released a new update to WDSibyl on the netlabs ftp site. There are both OS/2 and Win32 sources and binaries. Help is in both German and English.
Homepage (In German, Dutch and English): http://members.chello.at/webstar/wdsibyl.html "This is a Pascal-Compiler which processes a language closely related to Delphi."
Download: ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/wdsibyl/wdsibyl/install_20061114.zip Support is provided through:
International: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.org.netlabs.sibyl.devel German language: http://www.commtalk.de/ (currently below: OS/2 Development) From the included IDE.TXT file, translated from German using Babel Fish:
"WDSibyl is an advancement of Sibyl, which was developed some years ago by the company Speedsoft and given up then. The original to source of the IDE are subject the GPL (general Public License) and are down loadable by Hobbes. The original source of RTL, SPCC etc. was made available by SpeedSoft already some years ago on their homepage.
Since the company Speedsoft nolonger exists, I have to compile begun this source and it developed after longer time into "WDSibyl". With this product also come some innovations (e.g. USB -, ODBC - are, Joystick support, storing the position and colors of the component, some classes of other persons etc..) and a quantity of corrections.
My changes and/or extension of the source are subject also to GPL.
I do not take responsibility for direct or indirect damage by the use of the product. But if someone has an error or a problem with WDSibyl, I am pleased about feedback by E-Mail.
Since I cannot program and/or write everything, I could use assistance to develop this product further. Mainly are missing: o new components and/or source. o Documentation. o Tests and continue to develop the product You contact the developer at wdsibylDESPAM@DESPAMchello.at"

Netdrive Samba client plugin 3.0.9 Beta 14 (from http://www.os2news.com)
http://samba.netlabs.org/
"SAMBA is a SMB/CIFS protocols file and print sharing server/client set originally made for UNIX world to cooperate with corresponding Windows and OS/2 servers or clients. OS/2 has native implementation of SMB/CIFS server/client set - IBM LAN Manager and IBM Peer. These products haven"t been updated for a long time and have some compatibility problems with modern Windows SMB/CIFS implementations.
This package is the OS/2 port of SAMBA 3.0.9 client made as the plugin to NetDrive - a well known virtual file system for OS/2. OS/2 SAMBA client provides seamles access to SMB/CIFS file shares over your network using TCP/IP as the underlying transport protocol.
The OS/2 SAMBA client consists of two modules: ndpsmb.dll - the NetDrive plugin itself. smbcd.exe - the SAMBA client daemon, which actually processes the requests from ndpsmb.dll."
Samba Client NetDrive plugin updated: ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/samba/ndpsmb-3.0.9-b14.zip
Bugs should be reported to the XTracker at: http://xtracker.netlabs.org/index.php?project=22 According to the web site comments about SAMBA Client for OS/2 and eCS should be posted to the OS/2 newsgroup comp.os.os2.beta.
