Warp City Auctions & Classified Ads (from Tim Martin)
Warp City invites all OS/2 users to take advantage of our free offer to post your OS/2 hard/software and services items at the Warp City Auction or within the Warp City Classified Ads. We offer a variety of Auction styles: Featured, Bold, Dutch and Regular. Sellers can set minimums and reserve bids while buyers can use proxy bids (the system will bid on your behalf to your set limit). Set your time limit and let the auction begin! Photos or graphics can accompany each item! The first ten auctions and/or classified ads are free and only a $1 after that. Let's move some of that great OS/2 native software around to those who want and need it!

Article: The Navy' s perfect ship (from Henk Pol)
Read the whole story. It's from 31 juli 2000...
(...)The ISS-60 system is composed of two Pentium-based PCs running IBM Corp.'s OS/2 operating system. Sensors can be plugged into any one of 16 ports. There also is a time-code board installed in each system that constantly updates the systems  internal clocks through the Time Distribution System which, in turn, is updated via GPS satellites, according to Sebastian.(...)

VV's homesite - another russian website that can be read in english (from Klaus Staedtler)
here's just another russian OS/2 side readable by 'Non-Russians' (cause it's in english and no cyrillic letters). Available programs:
  • qsc - quick tcp portscanner (up to 100 times faster than idsc)
  • vshed - a simple scheduler that can have individual thresholds for each event (no docs, unfortunately)
  • geturl - a set of rexx scripts for scheduled downloading using wget. same functionality as GlassMan's awget and similar programs. BUT: it's mine and it was written earlier :)
  • wf - wipes freespace on a volume by creating a big file (as big as freespace). filled with 0's
  • trk2iso - utility that will remove the 40-byte header of RSJ's .trk files
