Books for eComStation users (from Eugene Gorbunoff)
eComStation market is changing, new users need books and tutorials.

eCo Software support service invested several thousand euro into books preparation, today we offer (russian text):
* Frequently asked questions. eComStation installation.
* Frequently asked questions. eComStation usage and optimization.

Photo: http://ecomstation.ru/ecoshop/pic/eComStation-Book-Q&Ac.jpg

The books are aimed at users and companies which have many computers and should solve different problems in short time.

The books play important role in the development of eComStation market:
* we can advertise eComStation via bookshops (it\'s impossible promote eCS via TV, there are banners in the Internet already)
* this increases the turnover of resellers (extends selection of goods - good addition to eCS box and electronic shareware products)

The next step is to start delivery of books:
* Official guide to using eComStation
* Frequently asked questions. ACPI, JFS, Panorama VESA

Panorama version 1.0 on eCS BetaZone (from http://www.os2news.com)
From:Mark Dodel < feedbackDESPAM@DESPAMos2voice.org >

[Moderator note: Just noticed this on eCS BetaZone while I was looking at
the other recent updates and a heads up from Mike O'Connor. Apparently it
is a couple weeks old.]

See list of supported adapters on:
http://en.ecomstation.ru/projects/panorama/?action=desc

'Panorama is an alternative modern video driver for eComStation and OS/2.

The goals of Panorama project:
* Create accelerated VESA video driver
* Create accelereated video driver for the most popular video adapter,
maintain it, upgrade it
* Create more video overlays
* Create tools for widescreen activation
* Collect knowledge for developers of multimedia applications '

Requires eCo Software runtime (base)
http://en.ecomstation.ru/ecosoft/runtime.php

FAQs for this project can be found at
http://en.ecomstation.ru/projects/panorama/?action=faq

This driver is available via the eComStation BetaZone to customers who have
an active Software Subscription Services. There is both a zip and a WPI
version.

PANORAMA.EXE 4342 kb 04/02/2008 10:56 am
This is the Panorama video VESA driver. The difference with all the other
Panorama packages is that this package includes the underlaying files of
GRADD Panorama uses. Please download this version. Run the executable it
will create a PANORAMA directory. From the panorama directory run 'setup
gen' from the command line to install. You don't have to have GRADD or SNAP

eComStation Myths (from Eugene Gorbunoff)
While a developer is debugging software for eComStation,
a dozen of well-wishers are distributing myths and lie about the system,
fill up the forums with advertisement papers from competitors.

To withstand the black PR, we opened new site:
eComStation Myths -- http://ecomstation.ru/myths
(the 1-st page is aimed at interested guests, the 2-nd is for
eComStation and OS/2 Warp users which have doubts)
