Participate in survey on operating systems (from Borre Benjamins)
Do you still use OS/2, IBM’s operating system? Maybe you’ve heard of eComStation, a new distribution of OS/2. I’m a student and currently writing an essay (for educational purposes only) on the market potential of eComStation. I need to gather some information to be able to make an estimation of the market potential. I’d like to ask you to help me gather that information.
I’ve drawn up a survey containing 12 questions concerning the operating system(s) in your organisation or home situation. Would you be so kind to participate in the survey? You can fill it out online; this will take you 10 minutes at the most. Every proper submitter will receive -if desired- a demo CD of eComStation 1.1 representing a value of $6. Of course it is also possible to submit the survey anonymously.
On that site you can find more information on the background of the survey, my education and me. Thank you for your cooperation!

IBM\'s OS/2 FAQs Page has updated questions and answers (from Rob M.)
IBM DeveloperWorks has numerous OS/2 FAQs online. For instance and possibly of considerable interest for network administrators with mixed OS/2 version or mixed OS (Win9X/NT and OS/2) installations, from that link you can visit the IBM DeveloperWorks LAN FAQs page online. It contains numerous questions and answers for OS/2 NetBIOS and TCP/IP Networking (including various interoperability questions related to Win95/98/NT/2K/XP) and OS/2 general questions. The questions span versions of Warp from Warp Server 4 to the newest ACP, and from Warp 4 Client to the newest MCP. It even includes answers to unsupported questions... for instance; how to install HPFS386 on Warp 4 Client (references the detailed instructions that can be found on Hobbes including the file name of the file as located on Hobbes). Also particular interest may be WebSphere.
