| USB Scanners for Tame 0.96 (from Klaus Staedtler) |
| Tame 0.96 will be a PM-Frontend for Sane, it is currently as Release Candidate at our beta testers. It will be officially available as soon. We got the confirmation from our testers and the NLS-files (it will be available in english, german, japanese, russian and swedish). As there will be a Tame USB version too containing Sane Epson USB (relying on latest sane 1.0.11 build, unfortunately with the bugs in there too, by Maeda Haruyuki) it would be nice to have as many as possible Epson USB Scanners supported out of the box. If anybody has one of the following scanners please drop me a note (please don\'t ask for others, you are only increasing our workload and will get no reply), so I can send you a sane USB build for testing your scanner and getting the scanner-specific settings into Tame.
