Normalize 0.7, a textmode program to adjust the volume of several wav or mp3 files to the same level.

This new version can also normalize mp3 files.

LyX 1.1.6 fix 4 (from Christian Hennecke)
Shigeru Miyata has released LyX 1.1.6 fix 4. LyX is an open source WYSIWYM (what you see is what you mean) GUI document processor. Unlike standard word processors, LyX encourages an approach to writing based on the structure of your documents, not their appearance. LyX lets you concentrate on writing, leaving details of visual layout to the software. LyX produces high quality, professional output -- using LaTeX, an industrial strength typesetting engine, in the background; LyX is far more than a front-end to LaTeX, however. No knowledge of LaTeX is necessary to use LyX, although it will give a user more power. For more information please see the LyX home page at http://www.lyx.org. The new version fixes several bugs, e.g. possible crashes when a selection is started when the cursor is over a blank, and slow loading of large files, and adds support for more encodings and the "kluwer" class. To run LyX, an X server (e.g. XFree86/OS2 or Hoblink X11), the Xforms library and LaTeX are required. If you want to take full advantage of LyX's feature, you also need the Perl scripting language, DVIPS, GV and Ghostscript. The package contains a setup guide. The LyX distribution is available at UnixOS2.org:
ftp://unixos2.org/incoming/lyx-1.1.6fix4-bin-os2.exe or ftp://unixos2.org/incoming/lyx-1.1.6fix4-bin-os2.tar.ppmd (this archive is a lot smaller, but you need GNU tar and the ppmd archiver to unpack it). Later, the files will be moved to the ZRL below.

ppwizard (from Timo Maier)
Generic preprocessor with specific support for HTML and rexx. Includes
external files and supplies usual #define, #include, #if, #ifdef etc as
well as many others such as #import to import data from databases. Can
import SQL. Text to HTML. Its syntax is very simple yet the tool is very
powerful. It is extendable using rexx, for example "#if GetEnv("FRED") ==
substr(Var, 2)". Macros support parameters and conditional logic. Create
FTP like pages from dir trees (or WPS URL objects), validate generated
HTML or rexx, automatically create thumbnails, photo albums. Spell check.
HTML example inclusion from file with automatic tagging. There is a "SSI"
add-available which simplifies migration from SSI. "OL_DOC.DH" header for
creation of IPF/HTML from common source. Looks to be handy as a XML, XSL
and DTD preprocessor. Also runs in Windows, DOS and Unix.

One new feature on the site is the NetBeans TM IDE, with Version 3.3 is now available for download. This new release includes 50 percent improvement in startup time, graphical annotations in the editor and a cleaner UI. NetBeans is an open source, cross- platform IDE written in pure Java technology. AiR-BOOT - v0.25b (from Martin Kiewitz)
Finally, I got it released. As a so-called "Have-A-Happy-New-Year"-Release. Please have a look at the fixes *first*. This version has hidden partitions pre-support.Have fun with it.
And like everytime: Please do not upload this beta to any public FTP/HTTP/whatever servers. Thanx.
If you got 0.23b/0.24b installed on your system, just make a new AiR-BOOT INSTALL disc and boot from it. You should get prompted, that you may update your copy of AiR-BOOT. Configuration will remain intact.
Fixes this time:
  • Second Open-Public Beta Version (BUGFIXED!)
  • EZ-SETUP Detection (will not install on such systems)
  • Scrolling in Bootmenu now possible (more than 14 bootable partitions)
  • Floppy: Get VolumeLabel and the Every-2-Seconds-Get Option are now functional.
  • AIRBSET may be executed from the floppy, where it will write to. Previously this resulted into an error-message and a damaged disc.
  • Delay for entering Setup got expanded
Fixes in this 0.24b bugfix-release:
  • Booting, when "Include Floppy" was deactivated resulted in booting the FOLLOWING partition, not the one that was selected. I didn't check this option to be working, after I redid the boot-menu.
  • Systems >15 partitions do not get save error anymore
  • Installer accepts upper-case input
  • Hiding Partitions Pre-Support. Will unhide *ANY* hidden partition on every boot.
    THIS MEANS:
NOT INSTALL TO SYSTEMS THAT RELY ON HAVING HIDDEN PARTITIONS!
  • Release-Version: 0.25b
0.26b will have Partition Setup and Hide Partitions-Feature implemented. Hopefully 0.27b will have "FDISK"-like util.

WarpLog ver. 0.99 (from Mark Tucker)
I've just uploaded a new version of my journal / diary program, WarpLog. There have been a few bugs squashed in this release along with the addition of a few minor features:
  • Fixed a problem with loading the RexxUtil libraries
  • Fixed a bug in searches that span more than one year.
  • fixed several minor date handling routines (days of week should be correct now). This only affected the interface and not the storage of data.
  • fixed a leap year bug in the date selection display routine. Again, this did no harm to the data storage.
  • Added a few double-click shortcuts to functions (eg. add/edit from the date selection list).
  • Added limited font selection support (found under "settings").
  • Added window settings to automatically store the position of the program and it's various windows.
WarpLog is free software licensed under the GPL.
