Onlinegames in the net (from Christoph Vogelbusch)
On that site you will find many (ca. 100) games. In section 'classic games' you find some games you may be know from emulators like Retrocade or MAME. You are able to play while loading other data like sound! Christoph has tested it with eCS and Java 1.3 and they were very fast but they should also work with older Java versions.

However, according to Intuit Tech Support officials, in accordance with our own experience, but contrary to their advertising, RETURNS CREATED WITH QUICKTAX apparently CANNOT BE FILED ELECTRONICALLY USING THE INTERNET. WarpCast Yahoo Group deleted (from Timur Tabi)
As many of you know, the WarpCast mailing list (as well as every other mailing list hosted by BMT Micro) has been dead for several months, and there are no signs of it coming back. BMT Micro had a big hardware crash back in December, and they have not yet recovered. Last year, I created a mailing list on eGroups (now called Yahoo Groups) which archived the WarpCast messages. Today, I deleted that mailing list, as it no longer serves a purpose. If you are interested in receiving daily OS/2 information, VOICE has a mailing list you can subscribe. You can subscribe to it by clicking on the link below.

Update: the Psion to OS/2 Connection (from Hans Hockx)
Since the introduction of the 'Psion to OS/2 Connection' website on march 10, many visitors sent me new information or told me about their experience on this topic. Most of this information has been added to the website during the last days. Also a new section have been introduced which might be interesting for those interested in more technical details. Please have another look at this site and keep sending me your feedback!

VOICE Server back online (from Mark Dodel)
Our server (which we have dubbed voice1) is now online again after a trip from North Carolina to Michigan. A big thank you to our SysAdmin, Abel McClendon, who pulled this off with only 2 days of downtime after we were blindsided with our former ISP closing down for construction work.
Voice1 is now safe and secure with Wilson Rook of Internet Walkabout in New Era, Michigan. Wilson runs a mix of operating systems, and he is quite comfortable running an OS/2 server. A big thank you to Wilson for stepping in to offer us a new home.
So if the DNS change has filtered through to you, you should now be able to access our websites ( http://www.os2voice.org, http://de.os2voice.org/ ) and our mail lists and mail addresses.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and we hope you will bear with us a while longer. If you have attempted to subscribe or unsubscribe from any VOICE mailing lists over the past 2 days, you will most likely have to do this again. If you submitted a mail post to any VOICE address or mail list, you may want to resend it. Some went through some didn't. I am currently beginning to process a backlog of News list submissions. These will take some time as the News list is over 500 subscribers now.
We plan to expand services available to members in the coming months. So stay tuned, and join VOICE if you haven't already. It is the support of our members that makes these services available, including those free to the entire OS/2 community like our monthly newsletter (in both Engish and German), our News mailing list, The Hear our Voice list (help@os2voice.org) and the Warp Doctor site.
If anyone is interested in sponsorship, VOICE can use the revenue at this point to help defray the cost of of services, which are currently being provided gratis by Internet Walkabout. We can't continue to expect free service though. VOICE has gone without sponsorship for over 4 years now, other then the free site hosting by BMT/Falcon for several years. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our members who fund VOICE's activities, and also those folks who contribute time and talent to the newsletter.
If you are ready to add your voice to that of the VOICE community, you can join online. For information on Sponorship, please see our sponsorship page at http://www.os2voice.org/sponsorinfo.html or contact our Marketing Representative Phil Butler at marketing@os2voice.org

VOICE server temporarily down (from Mark Dodel)
VOICE has lost it's server internet access. This was not entirely unexpected, and we were in the process of planning a switch over to a new co-location site, but we weren't given the advanced notice we were promised.
We are working hard to move the domain to a temporary site, in preparation for the move to the new co-location site. For now all VOICE mail services, including the News and Help lists are out of service.
Please use this mirror
We appologize for this, but it is beyond our control. We hope to have the site and services back up within the next day or two if at all humanly possible.

The Psion to OS/2 Connection (from Hans Hockx)
Just a short note to let you know that the 'Psion to OS/2 Connection' website is now available. The website is dedicated to connecting Psion PDA's to computers running OS/2 and/or eComStation. I would like this website to become a starting point for everyone using the Psion and OS/2 combination. Therefore your feedback is very much appreciated.
