| New WIN/OS2 driver (from Roderick Klein) |
| Behold everyone, a XMAS gift... Its finaly here! The all new generic WIN/OS2 driver. Tested as good as possible! If your soundcard works in native OS/2 you can have the same support in WIN/OS2! This driver supports wave playback/record and MIDI playback.
News:
If you get NO sound, check the amount of expanded memory you have set for the WIN/OS2 session. It needs to be put to zero! John has been looking into this but its something funny to do with the kernel.This is the wishlist to add later into the driver:

| Impos/2 Scanner drivers updated again
Compart has on 28.Nov 2000 updated the scanner drivers again. They now contain also a installer (similar to mmos2inst), unfortunately it is only in german, but most is selfexplaining (Fertig = Finish). Execute it with scninst.exe /impos. | Paul Ratcliffe has developed a bugfixed and multiple process enabled (at the moment 2 processes) aspirout.sys, it is fully compatible with the aspirout.sys by Daniel Dorau. At the moment it is at beta 3.
