SCOUG meeting Saturday, December 18, 2010 (from http://news.warpevents.eu/) |
Saturday, December 18th Greg is going to show us the latest results his experiments running eCS under Virtual Machines. Some of you might recall that the last time we tried this the results were not all that good. This time perhaps with updated versions of the various VMs the results will be better this time. Bob has a system that insists on booting slow, although it runs fine once booted. This month we are going to spend some time with pmdf and the kernel debugger to see if we can track down the reason and make it go away. After this, it’s going to yet another Q&A session. Bring your questions. As almost always, there will be coffee and donuts. Room 326 of the Eastside Christian School For further information, go to: >-- Tom Brown, Catherder -> URL: http://news.warpevents.eu/en/home/news_archive/newsdetails/archive/2010/december/article/scoug_meeting_saturday_december_18_2010.html -> comments: 0 [ Version for printing ] [ Send via eMail ] |

The Board of Directors will remain in close contact with the teams throughout the entire bid process, including final site selection. Questions about hosting the event can be directed to the Board of Directors at: bids [AT] warpstock [DOT] org Warpstock Corporation is a Virginia corporation.
