HexGlass is a Tetris-like puzzle game based on a hexagonal grid. Ten different types of blocks continuously fall from above and you must arrange them to make horizontal rows of hexagonal bricks. Completing any row causes those hexagonal blocks to disappear and those above move downwards. The blocks gradually fall faster and the game is over when the screen fills up and blocks can no longer fall from the top.
1.2.0 UI/view: - The best three results for each game size are displayed - A careful dropping mode where dropping is cancelled when the space key is released was added. - UI/translations were added: - Czech (cs) - Ukrainian (uk) Links: >-> URL: http://news.warpevents.eu/en/home/news_archive/newsdetails/archive/2010/december/article/updated_hexglas_to_v120.html -> comments: 0 [ Version for printing ] [ Send via eMail ] |

DiffPdf v1.1.4 (from http://news.warpevents.eu/) |
DiffPDF is used to compare two PDF files.
By default the comparison is of the text on each pair of pages, but comparing the appearance of pages is also supported (for example, if a diagram is changed or a paragraph reformatted). It is also possible to compare particular pages or page ranges. For example, if there are two versions of a PDF file, one with pages 1-12 and the other with pages 1-13 because of an extra page having been added as page 4, they can be compared by specifying two page ranges, 1-12 for the first and 1-3, 5-13 for the second. This will make DiffPDF compare pages in the pairs (1, 1), (2, 2), (3, 3), (4, 5), (5, 6), and so on, to (12, 13).
A couple of example PDF files are provided online so that you can try it out. PDF files can be loaded from the GUI (by pressing the File #1 and File #2 buttons), or by specifying them on the command line. More information is available in the program’s tooltips and About box. Update TexmakerX to v2.0a (from http://news.warpevents.eu/) |
TexMakerX is a fork of the LaTeX IDE TexMaker and gives you an environment where you can easily create and manage LaTeX documents. It provides modern writing support, like interactive spell checking, code folding and syntax highlighting. Also it serves as a starting point from where you can easily run all necessary LaTeX tools. (you can see more features below) You can run it on Windows, Unix/Linux, BSD and MacOSX systems and modify it if you want, since it is licensed under the GPL. Althought TexMakerX has a lot of additional features, it tries to be like an improved version of Texmaker, so it keeps it look&feel as well as its version number.
Updated: Integrated pdf viewer with forward/reverse search (Works now for OS/2, thankz to Silvan) To get pdf working: Just enable the "internal viewer" checkbox on the "Commands" page in the config dialog.
