The above article made me want to revisit my "Old Friend" after all of these years. Sadly, the installation doesn't go NEARLY as smoothly as the article implies, but I did FINALLY manage to get it up and running and upgrade with FixPack 15. The one thing neither the article's author nor I have been able to figure out is how to get better than 640x480x16 resolution. All attempts at implementing the GENGRADD driver result in a "Black Screen of Death." Hoping someone here might have some thoughts.
