| The DIGEST program is a utility for creating message digests for files.
Its main purpose is that it can be extended for new message digest algorithms by simply creating a special Dynamic Link Library. Currently included are the popular MD5 and SHA-1 so OS/2 users now have a native program for SHA-1. The idea is based on JACKSUM (www.jonelo.de) which is a Java program for many message digests. DIGEST.EXE is for use with Warp3 and does not support large files (> 2 GB). DIGESTL.EXE is for use with Warp 4.5 which supports large files. | This routine is an alternate version of \\OS2\\MDOS\\BASICA.COM that works on clones.
This may or may not work on your system. It worked on mine under OS/2 2.11, PC-DOS 5.02. You should try it somewhere before accepting it into general circulation. No implied or decleared support (etc): i am offering it as a free alternative to a program that has never worked for me. Technical stuff: All versions of OS/2 (language/vers no) come with a version of BASICA.COM that is largely non-functional on most machines. This version is identical to the one included in IBM-DOS 5.0. This version expects to be able to load ROMDOS at xF6000, which is usually handled by some different version of BIOS. The basica.com differs from the one in DOS 4, by the following: * The jump at byte 0x0000 is to a different address * The copyright date and version number is different: - DOS 4: Version A4.00 Copyright IBM Corp, 1981, 1988 - DOS 5: Version A3.40 Copyright IBM Corp, 1981, 1987 * DOS5/OS2 has extra code to load ROMBASIC The version in this ZIP file corresponds to the OS/2 version, with the DOS 4 jump, and then processed in PCE with a modified version of movbasic vers 5. PCE does not support the interrupt vector, but it does have ROMBASIC. None the same, the version here parks ROMBASIC at a different address, and it freely runs even where DOS does not load any high memory version. This additional new engine is highly compatible with the original game and can be optionally selected in the level editor. But it\'s main purpose is to play those thousands of original Emerald Mine Club levels with original game play, original graphics (ECS or AGA) and original sounds. The NetSpeed package consists of Client and Server programs, which use the following algorithm: * 1. Server waits for the arriving of starting UDP packet * 2. Client sends a starting UDP packet to the Server. This packet contains the number of threads and the number of UDP data packets, every thread will be send to the Server * 3. Server calculates the total number of data packets and begins to receive these packets * 4.
