SETI servers won\'t receive Work Units from the old kind of clients starting December 1rst. They (SETI I guess) developed a new kind of client and it wasn\'t available to OS/2 until now (just in time). A scheme can contain sets of pointers, sounds, in addition to information about colors of system appearance, and lets the user to configure parameters both of single objects and entire classes. Thanks to the fact that the scheme is stored as a single file, a scheme is mobile and can be easily transferred from one computer to another. Apart from that, the problem with incorrect display of some system controls will be resolved in eSchemes, because it can change the main color in the system appearance, which was previously fixed at grey. Yury Prokushev, eCo Software leading engineer, proclaimed: \"eSchemes greatly increases efficiency of system control. During the next years we anticipate to improve the situation in development of component applications.\" Joachim Benjamins (Mensys BV) considers that \"development of new components for eComStation was started back in 2002. | This OS/2 fork-free cdrecord build, based on 2.01.01a03 cdrecord sources with
cdrtools-2.01.01a01-ossdvd.patch.bz2 patch. I also applied some other minor OS/2 related changes, the most important of them is a new OS/2 CD/DVD transport, so aspirouter doesn\'t need anymore and USB CD/DVD devices are supported now. Origanl cdrecord sources can be found on ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/. DVD-related patch included into pack. All fixed sources will be in public domain and will be sent to the cdrecord author, after some testing. You need to install the latest os2cdrom.dmd (IBM:10.157 or later), which introduced new CD/DVD transport for getting full features, like -scanbus without media in drive etc. os2cdrom.dmd IBM:10.150 build seems to work also but limited somehow and was not tested on DVD drives. This build was done with gcc3.2.2 and utilize libc05/gcc322 Dlls - which are seemed to be stable, well-known and widely used in OS/2 world. Don\'t blame me, if it will not work for You, as 99% of job is done with cdrecord and ossdvd patch code. I only add some OS/2 cdrom related changes. Best regards.
