Seit gestern ist der neue SNAP 3.1.8 raus.

Readme.txt

snap2_Changes.txt
http://www.scitechsoft.com/snap2_changes.txt

Hier die Änderungen:
=================================================
Changes in 3.1.8 (build 505)
----------------------------

. Added support for the ATI Radeon X850 Series chipsets. Also updated
the driver for the Radeon 9200 through X800 desktop chipsets, fixing
potential lockups with zooming on DFP output introduced in 3.1.7.

. Added support for the ATI Mobility Radeon XPress 200 laptop chipset.
Also updated the Radeon XPress 200 integrated desktop chipset driver
to support additional PCI IDs. Only packed video overlay formats are
available on these chipsets, as planar formats seem to be broken on
at least some of the variants.

. PCI Express cards are now listed as such in the graphics.log file.

. Further improvements to the screen orientation options (rotation and
flipped). They are now supported in fullscreen environments (MGL,
native SNAP, wxMGL). For the OS/2 desktop, they are considered
experimental and are still unsupported. More details at:

vSound 0.10 BETA (vDMA 0.92 BETA) (von NN)
vSound - virtual Soundblaster for OS/2 / eCS

THIS RELEASE DOES NOT YET ROUTE SAMPLE-DATA TO MMOS/2

t\'s only useful for people that want to try it for fun or people that got a working Soundblaster card on port 220h, IRQ5, DMA1 and want to use vCOMPAT GoSierra patching (use pass-thru in that case!).

PLEASE READ THE TXT FILES INCLUDED IN THIS RELEASE!

vDMA needs NOT to be listed in config.sys, while vSOUND needs to be in there. Also vSOUND needs to be listed PRIOR vCOMPAT for GoSierra patching to work.

vCompat 0.34 (von NN)
vCOMPAT is a special VDD, that will fix some issues in VDMs to further enhance compatibility. It contains plenty of fixes and some of them are user-controlable via Properties.

This anti-CLI code now doesn\'t ring-0 trap anymore, if an application sets a guard page in a memory block Implemented GoSierra patching into vCOMPAT (only available, when vsound is also loaded!)

Parameters:

* COMPATIBILITY_2GBSIZELIMIT - will limit the size virtually to 2GB on any drive reported to DOS applications

* COMPATIBILITY_CDROM - will make fix some CD-ROM APIs to act like in real DOS

* COMPATIBILITY_DPMI - will include some DPMI work-arounds and activate the magical VM patcher for DPMI patching

* COMPATIBILITY_DPMI_ANTICLI - will activate the AntiCLI code in the magical VM patcher (more information in vCOMPAT.txt)

* COMPATIBILITY_JOYSTICKBIOS - will emulate BIOS joystick functions (if implemented incorrectly by BIOS manufacturer)

* COMPATIBILITY_MOUSESENSE - will make the mouse more sensitive (only meant for some games)

* Magical VM Patcher, will fix the following problems on-the-fly on any application:

- Turbo Pascal CRT Unit run-time error 200 bug (Realmode and DPMI)
- M$ C Library \"Division by Zero\" bug
- Non-compliant DPMI code (aka infamous CLI bug)

Some other issues that are not documented here
