MultiZilla 1.8.1.1c (von NN)
MultiZilla was the first browser extension to introduce the tabbed UI for Mozilla.

Current Mozilla builds make use of this idea but it is only partly integrated by the Mozilla team, so MultiZilla still has lots of extra features that cannot be found in today\'s Mozilla builds (although Firefox adds even more MultiZilla features like middle-click on bookmarks and some of the tab group features).

VCDImager 0.7.12 as test version (von NN)
A port of Gnu VCDImager to create different kinds of Video- (VCD) and S-video (SVCD) CDs.

Use cdrdao/2 to write the generated image. It seems to work so far but I didn\'t test it thoroughly. I burned one CD and there was something to watch on the screen. Don\'t ask me how to create the necessary MPEG for burning. There\'s enough about that to find on the net and I\'m not a video guru at all.

Bochs 2.2.6 (von NN)
Bochs is a highly portable open source IA-32 (x86) PC emulator written in C++, that runs on most popular platforms. It includes emulation of the
Intel x86 CPU, common I/O devices, and a custom BIOS. Currently, bochs can be compiled to emulate a 386, 486 or Pentium CPU. Bochs is
capable of running most Operating Systems.

I present here Bosch for OS/2 preview.

I made this port, as I was not satisfiered with Bochs win32 binary under ODIN performance and compatibility with OS/2 Presentation Manager.
Also I\'ve fixed some bochs bugs, which prevented OS/2 boot inside Bochs.

Now it can boot OS/2 from diskettes and HDD images, as well (look at screenshots). Also I went through full OS/2 installation process with success, which include primary booting OS/2 from 3 diskette images (taken from Merlin original CD) and installing OS/2 onto HPFS HDD image from CD ISO image.

Bochs emulation perfomance can\'t impress, but productivity was not the main goal of Bochs project.

JMDB v1.35 beta veröffentlicht (von Juergen Ulbts)
Am 22.02.2006 wurde die neue Version der Java Movie Database veröffentlicht.
Es handelt sich um eine offene Beta der Version 1.35.

Die Java Movie Database (JMDB) ist ein Java Program das die Daten der IMDb
Textdateien (Internet Movie Database - http://www.imdb.com/) in mehreren
MySQL/PostgreSQL Tabellen speichert.
Nach dem Import der Daten, kann man nach Schauspielern, Filmen,
Produzenten und Regisseuren suchen.
Zu den Filmen und Personen werden dann diverse Details angezeigt.

Es wird ein Update auf die aktuelle Version empfohlen, da Änderungen
an den IMDb Daten (seit Ende Januar 2006 - Folgen von Fernsehserien)
berücksichtigt werden (bei der Datenbank abfrage kann man Folgen von Serien ausblenden)
und außerdem der erforderliche Bedarf an Hauptspeicher beim Import durch diese
Änderung gestiegen ist (-Xmx Parameter beim Start der Anwendung wurde angepaßt).
Daneben unterstützt die aktuelle Version nun neben MySQL auch das
PostgreSQL Datenbank-System.

Wir suchen übrigens weiter Freiwillige, die das Programm in andere Sprachen übersetzen wollen.

FEHLERHAFTE DATEN:

Derzeit sind noch einige Fehler in den Daten der IMDb vorhanden, die mit der Erweiterung
auf Fernsehserien in Zusammenhang stehen. Die korrigierten Daten (Titel von Filmen und
das Datum bei einigen Releasedates) von Anfang Februar wurden an die bei
der IMDb zuständigen Personen weitergeleitet und ich hoffe das die Änderungen mit dem nächsten
Update der List-Dateien zur Verfügung stehen.

Vom Import der Release-dates.list(.gz) bei Verwendung von PostgreSQL muss ich abraten
solange die Daten nicht korrigiert sind, da es sonst zu massenhaften Fehlern.

Wer die Daten dennoch importieren möchte darf die Release-dates.list.gz enpacken und
mit einem Texteditor folgende Datumsangeben korrigierten (sind nur 4 Stück - einer kommt doppelt vor).
In den folgenden Jahren gibt es keinen 29. Februar...also auf den 28. Februar abändern:

PMViewPro 3.24 (von NN)
This update of PMView contains an important security fix for the JPEG decoder. Updating to v3.24 is recommended if you are using a prior version.

Changes:

1. - General: PMView dies silently if it runs out of memory. This version corrects the problem by displaying an error message before exiting.

2.- Conversion Scripts: When using a relative path in a conversion script, the path is resolved with reference to the current directory of the command line. While this works as expected when running PMView scripts from the command line, the behavior may seem odd and confusing to users launching the script directly from the main menu or from the FOC popup menu.

This version changes the behavior so that relative paths are resolved relative to the FOC directory. When running scripts from the command line, the behavior remains unchanged.

3. - Printing: When printing multiple images, the automatic orientation option is not working correctly. Only the printouts having the same orientation as the first image are printed correctly. The problem is that the output is rotated but the paper orientation is not.

There is a new release of Mr. Message available which addresses the issue of all received IMs not being processed correctly.

Thanks to all of the AIM servers out there for changing things up again for no good reason. There are additional features in the REXX support that should allow a user to create their own translators for character sets and languages.

Don\'t included the brackets on the command line. If you don\'t have either Database\'s, QnEDemo.exe will demo the graphics of this program. I tried to make the background look like my wood desk top. Instead it ended up looking like a wooden floor. I left it like that for all you wood lovers out there.

Art of Illusion is a free, open source 3D modelling and rendering studio. It is written entirely in Java, and should be usable on any Java Virtual Machine which is compatible with J2SE 1.4 or later.

The current version is 2.2.1, released February 11, 2006. This version is both stable and powerful enough to be used for serious, high end animation work. Many of its capabilities rival those found in commercial programs.

Some of the highlights include subdivision surface based modelling tools, skeleton based animation, and a graphical language for designing procedural textures and materials.

CMD IT - A command line program generator (von NN)
have placed CMD_IT on my web site(see URL below):

It is a free OS/2 command line program that generates OS/2 CMD files.

The program expects the command line to contain the file name for the CMD file and one or more files to be operated on by the generated CMD file.
he program will then prompt the user for the CMD file instructions. The instructions may contain up to 6 commands that use the filenames.

The commands are entered on one line with @ representing a new line and %s representing the filename.

Here is a sample command line:

CMD_IT XXX.CMD C*.C

he following entered when prompted will generate the CMD file shown below.

The first line of the generated CMD file is a comment that shows the name of the CMD file and the path to CMD_IT. The second line is the number of
