| GCC - GNU C Compiler 3.4.6 (von NN) |
| Mainly due to the fact that GCC 3.3.5 (which is what is currently used by kLibc) is becoming too old to build the latest Mozilla trunk code, I started working on building a newer version of GCC.
I\'ve started with v3.4.6 - as the thought was that the amount of changed between 3.3.5 and 3.4.6 would be comparatively small compared with aiming for the \'latest\' GCC (currently 4.3.2). All 32-bit Doctor Web scanners has modular architecture and include the following components: * kernel * virus database, and * a shell The Kernel is an executable code that implements various algorithms for virus detection and removal. The Virus database is an separate file (or files) that contains virus signatures and precompiled description of rules for virus detection and removal. The Shell is an implementation of the user interface that is specific for each operating environment. This architecture enables all 32-bit Doctor Web versions to use the same kernel and virus databases. The shell of Doctor Web for OS/2 provides a simple command-line interface typical for batch processing.
