Java Plugin (Beta version) announcement (von http://news.warpevents.eu/)

Within the next couple of days we deliver a Java Plugin (Beta version) based upon IcedTea and OpenJDK 6.  We are sorry that it took more time than we estimated. At the time of writing a first version is running and being tested.  See also http://class='extlink'http://svn.netlabs.org/java/ticket/15 for the progress of the plugin and a screenshot, which shows it’s already runs.

The GA3 (including the plugin) should also be available within the next couple of days. In order to watch progress and see what we plan in GA3 (this is still subject to changes)
visit: http://class='extlink'http://svn.netlabs.org/java/milestone/GA3

As the Java project is, at least partially, a donation based project, we welcome everyone to sponsor us. The sponsor link is: http://class='extlink'http://www.mensys.com/shop/NetlabsJava6 />100% of these funds are used for Java exclusively.
On
http://class='extlink'http://svn.netlabs.org/java you see also a sponsor barometer.

regards
Silvan Scherrer

PMView 3.66 (von http://news.warpevents.eu/)

http://http://www.pmview.com/

OS/2 Warp and Rumors http://http://www.os2bbs.com/os2news/ reports that "http://http://www.pmview.com/PMView, the indispensable graphics viewer, has been updated (6/18/2012) to version 3.66."

See: http://www.pmview.com

PMView is an image viewer and converter for OS/2 and Windows.  Existing licensed users can logon to to http://http://download.bmtmicro.com/ to get the update.  New users can download a trial version at http://http://www.pmview.com/download.html

The following features are new in PMView v3.66:

  1. Help File: Since v0.93 PMView has required that the help file PMView.HLP is located in the same directory as PMView.EXE. As of this version it is now possible to store PMView.HLP anywhere in the path set by the general OS/2 HELP environment variable.

The following bugs and problems are fixed in PMView v3.66:

  1. Settings notebook: Several problems with keyboard navigaton in the notebook have been fixed. It’s impossible to switch page using the keyboard. Pressing the left/right arrow keys, PgUp/PgDn or Alt-PgUp/PgDn does not do anything. The behavior of the Tab key is incorrect.
  2. Settings notebook: You cannot use the Tab and cursor keys to move focus to the Hide Mouse Pointer option on the View page.
  3. Settings notebook: Checkboxes are grouped and pressing the Tab key will step to the next group instead of the next checkbox. This behavior is inconsistent with how the Tab key works in all other PMView dialogs where checkboxes are not grouped together.
