Orders Up 37,000 OS/2 Preloads!... Who says AT&T

doesn't use OS/2? Richard Hevron reports of a deal recently sent out

to bid from AT&T for 37,000 computer

units *preloaded* with OS/2. Those bidding were folks like DFI (the

same PC OEM Indelible Blue turns to for their preloaded computer

system sales) and IBM. AT&T wanted

OS/2 for its stability as the units were to be used in telephony,

where NT, for example, is an unreliable dog! Who won the bid? IBM...
